Frequently asked questions

How do I sign in to the Google Sheets add-on?
Open Extensions → InvestorLens → Open InvestorLens in Google Sheets. The sidebar signs you in with your Google account. If you already use investorlens.io with the same email, your plan carries over.
A cell shows #ERROR!. What does it mean?
Hover over the cell to see the message. Common causes: the ticker isn't covered, the field name is misspelled, the period isn't available for that company, or the data needs a paid plan (quarterly, TTM, key metrics, more than 5 years). If it says you're not signed in, open the sidebar once.
How do I refresh the numbers?
Use Extensions → InvestorLens → Refresh data. Prices are cached for up to 15 minutes and financial data for up to 6 hours to keep the add-on fast.
What is the daily request limit?
Free accounts get 100 requests a day and paid accounts 2,000. One request loads every period for a company, so a sheet full of formulas for one ticker usually costs a single request. Limits reset at midnight UTC. The sidebar shows today's usage.
How does the free trial work?
New users get every paid feature for 7 days, with no credit card. When the trial ends your account returns to the Free plan; your sheets keep working and paid-only cells show an upgrade message.
How do I upgrade or cancel?
Upgrade from the add-on sidebar or the pricing page. To cancel, email us or use your account settings on investorlens.io. You keep paid access until the end of the billing period.
How do I uninstall the add-on or delete my data?
In Google Sheets go to Extensions → Add-ons → Manage add-ons to uninstall, and remove access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Email us to delete your InvestorLens data; we do it within 30 days.
Which companies are covered?
Companies listed on the TSX, TSX Venture Exchange and Canadian Securities Exchange. If a company is missing or a number looks wrong, email us the ticker and we'll check it.
